Terms & Conditions

Please be familiar with the below before purchasing tickets to The Pop Up Movie Club

FOR INDOOR EVENTS PLEASE SEE BELOW

  • THE SCREEN IS AN AVERAGE SIZE PROJECTION SCREEN NOT A CINEMA SIZED SCREEN.

  • Dress appropriately it may get cold!

  • We advise guests to arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to screening time.

  • Seating IS provided. Cushions/Blankets are not provided. It is advisable to bring your own, to make your visit more comfortable.

  • Booking number or print out of ticket will only be accepted.

  • Any under 18s MUST be with an adult.

  • No glass allowed.

  • Tickets are non refundable. Your decision to not attend is beyond our control and as such we cannot offer refunds for no-shows or last minute changes of your plans. If you cannot make it, you CAN allocate your tickets to someone else, but please let us know prior to the event.

  • ROAR by venue staff.

  • For health and safety reasons you should be in good health free from any eye sensitivity, heart and mobility issues

  • Good public order must be observed at all times, if deemed by staff to be intoxicated or causing a disturbance to other guests you will be removed from the event.

  • Once the film has started photography & video recording will not be permitted.

  • Smoking may only take place in dedicated smoking area.

  • There will be no coat room or storage for personal belongings in the venue.

  • Ticket holders understand that there are inherent risks when entering event and in acceptance of entrance, the ticket holder agrees to release the operator, it’s affiliates, directors, employees,volunteers and venue owners from any liability, harm, injury or death, cost or expense whatsoever that may arise directly or indirectly as a result of participation in The Pop Up Movie Club event.

FOR OUTDOOR EVENTS PLEASE SEE BELOW​

  • Weather: Generally, outdoor events will go ahead in all weather conditions - including rain! We advise that you monitor weather forecasts and dress appropriately. In the event of an orange or red severe weather warning, we will postpone events. Please watch our social media accounts for updates. We will always proceed even in heavy rain, so make sure to check that forecast! Refunds will not be issued because of wet weather.

  • Our events will go ahead in line with any HSE/Government safety guidelines. If the Covid situation is at a stage where this event cannot proceed safely, we will reschedule, and your ticket(s) will be valid for that new date. Your ticket is non-refundable.

  • We advise guests to arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to screening time.

  • Please note GATES OPEN time vs MOVIE START time when booking.

  • Seating/Cushions/Blankets are not provided. It is advisable to bring your own, to make your visit more comfortable. You are free to bring your own camping char/fold up chair/deck chair or similar.

  • Booking number or print out of ticket will only be accepted. The surname of the person who booked may also be asked on entry.

  • Any under 18s MUST be with an adult.

  • No glass allowed.

  • Tickets are non refundable. If a screening is called off due to weather, safety concerns or because of public health advice, you will be furnished with a replacement date and your original ticket will be valid for that.

  • ROAR by venue staff.

  • For health and safety reasons you should be in good health free from any eye sensitivity, heart and mobility issues.

  • If attending Camden Fort, parts of the fort could involve time outdoors as well as in cold areas, we recommend dressing for the weather conditions.

  • Good public order must be observed at all times, if deemed by staff to be intoxicated or causing a disturbance to other guests you will be removed from the event.

  • Once the film has started photography & video recording will not be permitted.

  • Smoking may only take place in dedicated smoking areas.

  • Guest will receive a Health and Safety brief on arrival. Guest not adhering to these rules will be removed from the event.

  • We reserve the right to film and record at events for promotional purposes.

  • There will be no coat room or storage for personal belongings in the venue.

  • Ticket holders understand that there are inherent risks when entering event and in acceptance of entrance, the ticket holder agrees to release the operator, it’s affiliates, directors, employees,volunteers and venue owners from any liability, harm, injury or death, cost or expense whatsoever that may arise directly or indirectly as a result of participation in The Pop Up Movie Club event.

 

FOR DRIVE-IN MOVIE EVENTS SEE BELOW

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: This is a safety notice with conditions of contract and may affect your legal rights.

Everyone entering this Car Park is requested to note that these Terms and Conditions affect and will bind them to these Terms and Conditions.

Everyone entering the Car Park must follow the procedures in these Terms and Conditions and must obey the directions displayed on signs, notices, markings etc.

Please remember that the car park is open to the public and it is not possible to guarantee the security of your vehicle or its contents.

1. Definitions:

“The Company” means the Car Park managed by All About Events and Fota House and Gardens and all other persons having any propriety or other interest in the Car Park.

“The Customer” means any person who uses the Car Park whether by himself or his servants or agents or as servant or agent for anybody else and any person having propriety, possessory, financial or material interest in the vehicle.

“Entrant” means any natural person who enters or is in the car park whether or not the customer.

Except where expressly qualified person includes companies, firms and associates incorporated and unincorporated; words in the singular. Shall where applicable, include the plural and words incorporating a masculine meaning shall include a feminine and neuter meaning

2. Safety

Car parks can be dangerous and all persons must:

(a) Drive carefully in the Car Park; and

(b) Observe the rules of the road.

(c) Park only inside a clearly marked space

(d) Obey directional signs; and

(e) Be extra careful with children. Keep children under close supervision and do not permit

them to play or run about in the car park; and

(f) Please deposit all litter in the litter bins provided.

Should you damage any vehicle in the Car Park you are requested to report the matter immediately and to give details of registration, insurance etc. The Company shall have the right to move any vehicle by driving or otherwise within or outside the Car Park at the company’s sole discretion.

3.  Legal Relations:

(a) The Company is only providing a space for parking your vehicle and the fee is solely in proportion to the time spent in the Car Park. The Company therefore does not have any obligation to maintain custody over the vehicle or its contents.

(b) The Company its servants and agents shall not be liable in respect of any loss or misdelivery of or damage to the vehicle howsoever the same may be caused save where the same may be caused by the negligence or breach of statutory duty, of the Company its servants or agents or (in the case of the company only) the dishonesty of its servants or agents: and

(c) The Company its servants and agents shall not be liable in respect of death or personal injury sustained by the entrant howsoever the same may be caused by the negligence or breach of the Company its servants or agents.

The Customer will indemnify The Company against all claims, demands, and costs whatsoever arising out of or in connection with the presence of the vehicle in the Car Park unless the Customer shall prove that the loss, damage, death or injury the subject matter of such claims or demand was caused solely by the negligence or breach of statutory duty of the Company its servants or agents. Every person who enters into a contract with the Company for the parking of a vehicle at the Car Park, whether by purchasing a ticket or otherwise does so on behalf of himself and all other customers (as herein defined) and warrants his authority to so contract.

 

FOR ALL HIRE EQUIPMENT PLEASE SEE BELOW

1. GENERAL

(a) Definitions and Law

This contract is an agreement of the hire of inflatables and accessories ( "the Equipment") detailed overleaf and will be governed by Irish law.

 

The parties to the contract are:

(I) The hirer ("the Hirer") (ii) The Supplier (" the Supplier")

(iii) Where than the para is not an individual acting in person, the person whose signature appears on the contract is the Hirer.

No variation of addition to this contract shall be effective. If any condition is held to be invalid the others will not be affected. A decision not to enforce any condition will not constitute a waiver of the Supplier's right.

 

(b) Extent of Contract and Non Assignability

The contract will be effective when the Hirer places a detailed order and the Supplier has accepted it. Contact is not assignable.

 

(c) Maximum Period of Hire

 

If the Hirer is an individual, partnership or an unincorporated body the Contact will at latest terminate upon the expiry of one month from the date of commencement.

 

(d) Termination of the Contract

If the Hirer is in breach of Contract or is involved in insolvency or liquidation proceedings the Supplier may terminate the Contract and repossess the Equipment without affecting any right to recover monies due, including damages for breach of the Contract, or any other remedies.

 

(e) Ownership of Equipment and Goods

Equipment remains at all times the property of the Supplier.

2. HIRE CHARGES

(a). Basis of Charging

Charges and commencement dates are as stated and charges including Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays, until the Equipment is collected.

 

(b) Transport

Delivery or collection will be included at the Suppliers current rate.

 

(c) Time for Payment and VAT

The Hirer will pay all monies due before delivery (failure to do so can result in unit being left with the hirer), including VAT and on demand interest on amount overdue are at current overdraft rate plus 4%. The Hirer will be liable for all legal charges incurred by the Supplier in the recovery of the amount due and/or equipment.

 

(d) Cancellation Charge

100% of the hire charge for the unconsumed hire period will be due in the event of early cancellation for any reason WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF THE HIRE DATE.

 

(e) Failure to Allow Inspection of Equipment

If after reasonable notice that Hirer fails to make the equipment available for inspection the Supplier makes treat it as having been lost and levy a penalty charge against the Hirer of the full replacement cost.

 

(f) If unit does not fit.

 

It is the customers responsibility to make sure that the unit ordered will fit in the allocated space, if this is not possible for us to install due to incorrect dimensions the customer is liable for the complete rental price. 1200MM clear flat access is required for us to deliver. The placement area must be flat and safe for us to install. It is the customers responsibility to provide correct information as failure to do so will result in us being unable to install the unit and the full rental charge will still apply.

3. HIRER'S RESPONSIBILITIES

(a) Damage or Loss Costs

The Hirer will pay for all rectification, cleaning or Equipment loss. The cost of damage repair will also be payable by the Hirer. Severe damage or Equipment loss will result in charging full replacement cost. Hire charges will accrue until settlement is made.

(b) Delivery, Inspection and Receipt of Equipment

The Hirer/Signatory will examine the Equipment at physical handover to ensure satisfaction and sign in confirmation. For delivered items any shortage or damage must be noticed on the delivery note.

(c) Security of Equipment

The Hirer assumes responsibility for the Cinema Dome and equipment and undertakes not to sell, re-hire or part with possession, alter, repair or modify it in any way.

(d) Lost or Stolen Equipment

The Hirer agrees to insure the Equipment against all risks on a 'new for old' basis with any claim settlement receipts from an insurance company or other source be held in trust for payment on demand. This liability is without prejudice to any Suppliers rights under the Contract. Equipment purchased to replace lost or stolen items is the property of the Supplier.

(e) Maintenance of Equipment and Breakdown Procedures

The Hirer is responsible for the safety, safe use, serviceability and cleanliness of the Equipment throughout the hire period and must immediately notify any breakdown of shortcoming to the Supplier without attempt to repair.

(f) Signatory's Warranty

The Signatory warrants that he/she is authorised by the Hirer to enter into the Contact and indemnifies the Supplier against all losses and cost incurred if such authority is misrepresented.

 

4. SAFETY PROCEDURES AND INDEMNITY BY HIRER

(a) Acknowledgment of Safety instructions and Safe Use

The Hirer/Signatory acknowledges receipt of appropriate instruction in the safe and proper operation of the Equipment and confirms and certifies that the supplier has read the instructions to me and I understand same. I undertake that it will only be used in accordance with those instructions. The Hirer hereby indemnified the Supplier against any expense, liability, loss, claim or proceedings for any personal injury and damage to or loss on any property arising from or in with the contract or by way of performance of any of the conditions contained therein. Bouncecrazy do not provide insurance.
